Okay, so the rants haven't been updated in a long long long while. But with the X-Box and Gamecube on their way, it shouldn't be too long, right?

Okay, so the rants haven't been updated in a long long long while. But with the X-Box and Gamecube on their way, it shouldn't be too long, right?
Ah, my first rant. Well here goes nothing.
I like Video Games........alot. The PS2 is great. If i had one I would play it. But since i dont, I play various different online games.
Take Utopia for example. Comprised of almost 45,000 players on the World of Utopia server alone, it is by far one of the most preferred games on the net. With the ability to specialize in race, strategy, and role, it is possible to become powerful in several ways. From the powerful Attacking Orc and Humans, and the large Exploring Dwarf, to the stealthy Theiving Halfling, and the magic weilding Sorcerer Elves and Faeries. Lets not forget the poisonous Undead race.
I also play Planetarion. Another much-preferred game, totaling over 170,000 players. Everyone starts with a planet in this game, and you control a small sector of space. The idea is to either explore for asteroids, or attack other planets and steal them with special ships call 'Astropods', becoming the largest and most powerful sector of space. Universes are composed of 25 players, forming a loose team. Interstellar ships range from the small and agile Interceptors, to the hulking, but powerful, Devastators.
This game has an interesting option, however. When you are starting an account, you have a choice. You are either able to choose a random Universe to play in, or if you have a friend who already has a planet, you can start your planet in that Universe, if there are available slots in that Universe. This is quite unlike Utopia, where all province locations are randomly placed.
Yeah yeah, enough of these actoinless RPG's. Ok ok, on to stuff with a little more action.
Graal is good. It's sortof a ripoff of the old Super Nintendo title Zelda: A Link To The Past. Ok, so its exactly like it. Oh well. I played it a little bit, but got fed-up with the constant p.k.-ing duals. After about 10:00 p.m. CST thats all that players do. Its annoying as hell. Oh well. It has an interesting intra-game messaging system that I never could figure out how to use, and theres supposedly missons you can do to get more Heart Peices, but I never got any done.
Ok ok, long enough. Well, I'll talk at you some more next time, probably about X-Pilot.
